About Luke

Luke is solutions-oriented with a passion for detail. A great communicator, Luke is unflappable in his management of multiple projects—while ensuring their deadlines, quality and budgets are being met. Clients remark on Luke’s thoroughness and lack of pretense. He makes meetings, returns phone calls, comes prepared and listens respectfully. His commitment to excellence is not reserved only for big-ticket projects, he shows the same level of dedication to each engagement.

He says: “I believe that the most important part of the design process is effective communication and collaboration. This requires setting aside pride and preconceptions. Communicating with the client, the design team, and the builder is something that I always strive to do better.”

Luke loves the unique challenge of restoring and renovating historic buildings. He can also help clients navigate the requirements of the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), National Park Services (NPS), grant programs and low income housing tax credits.

“I am passionate about creating spaces that are not only safe and comfortable to be in, but also that engage the senses and capture the imagination of its users. Great design is not only functional, but also beautiful, and should create a healthy and inspiring environment in which people from all walks of life can live, work and play.”
