Chad is a talented and approachable architect who brings both hands-on construction experience and a passion for design to his role at WDM Architects. A Kansas State University graduate, Chad’s journey into architecture began with his love for drafting classes and working on construction projects with his dad. His diverse project portfolio includes the Riverfront Baseball Stadium and Maize School District Career Academy, reflecting his versatility across building types. Known for his ability to listen carefully to clients and translate their vision into reality, Chad values efficient, aesthetically pleasing designs that enhance a building’s purpose.
Chad loves recharging with a good puzzle, which helps him stay creative and focused.
He has a diverse animal sanctuary living with him: a Rottweiler named Behr, "well, because he looks like a bear," and a rescued Mallard duck named Pickels, (and 3 Rouen ducks because Pickels needed friends.)
When he grows up, he wants to have a couple classic cars. Until then, he enjoys his motorcycle.
Chad's favorite sports are football (both college and professional) and college basketball.
He enjoys traveling and visiting new places, commenting "I recently have begun planning yearly trips to a National Park after reading a recent article and realizing that there is so much I haven’t seen in this country."
His guilty pleasure: a good book.
