About Amber
Amber Michaud recently joined WDM Architects after earning her Master of Architecture from Kansas State University. She first explored graphic design at Washburn University before discovering her true calling in architecture. A highlight of her academic journey was studying abroad in Italy—an experience that fulfilled a lifelong dream and gave her a deep appreciation for slower, community-centered living.
Amber was drawn to WDM by the warmth of its people and the uniqueness of its projects. She appreciated the pride the team takes in their work and immediately felt at home. WDM’s principals were thrilled to bring her on board after being impressed by her outstanding student portfolio, poise and composure, and sunny personality. Outside the office, she stays creatively inspired by crafting and listening to music. She’s currently channeling her energy into her next big goal: architectural licensure.
