About the Project
Prairie Bank of Kansas, formerly Farmers National Bank, had branches in three small rural Kansas farming communities. When expanding into the Hutchinson market in 2009, owners wanted a branch that would make a statement and position them for success in the larger, more competitive banking market. WDM was retained to design their handsome new facility with exposed beams and columns, an atrium lobby and a native split-faced cut limestone exterior.
