About the Project
Park City officials wanted their new building to pay homage to Park City’s past but also to indicate a progressive future. An inviting and open lobby greets citizens upon entering with direct access to the City Council room, which will also serve as the municipal courtroom. The Police Department, City Hall functions and Municipal Courts all have windows for citizens to conduct business or be directed to the proper personnel.
The shared space between the Police Department and City Hall includes:
- Restroom facilities
- Breakroom
- Basement storage area
- A training/large conference room
The Police Department space has areas for:
- Administrative staff
- Detective offices
- Interview rooms
- Booking area
- Officers’ locker rooms
- Holding rooms
- Armory
- Roll call room
- Reporting area and records storage space
- A vehicle sally port
