Project Description
WDM Architects partnered with Olivet Baptist Church on a comprehensive multi-phase interior renovation, enhancing functionality and aesthetics across 10,200 square feet of space. The project included:
- Tiered Choir Room Transformation: Converted into a versatile conference/classroom space, offering flexibility for various gatherings.
- Finish Upgrades: Adult classrooms and the administrative wing received modernized finishes, creating a refreshed environment.
- Multi-Purpose Room Restructuring: Structural columns were reduced, opening up the space for more effective use.
- Accessibility Enhancements: A new wheelchair ramp and ADA-accessible restrooms were added to improve accessibility.
- Corridors, Lobbies, and Coffee Bar: These areas received updated finishes and improved lighting, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
- Worship Center Updates: Fresh paint and updated stage finishes revitalized the worship experience.
The most recent phase, The Cave renovation, transformed the church’s youth room into a dynamic and welcoming space, perfect for fostering community and growth among the church’s youth.
