Community Architecture

Lyons City Hall & Library

About the Project

Lyons City Hall and Library provides upgraded facilities to house the City’s offices, council chamber, and the City Library. Red brick and limestone masonry provide the sense of permanent stability desired by the City.

The City Hall chambers at the front of the building are designed as a flexible space with movable furniture to use for monthly court sessions, library events, and other community activities in addition to council meetings.

The updated library features an open and naturally lit space with separate areas for children, teens, and adults and includes video and gaming areas.
