Kearney Regional Medical Center

About the Project

The original 59,000-square-foot hospital began design in January 2010. The attached 49,000-square-foot Medical Office Building was finished in 2013. The facility has experienced accelerated growth requiring a 66,500-square-foot multi-phase addition to the hospital. Construction on the addition began in 2015.

 

This 125,500-square-foot campus on 21 acres includes:

  • 44-bed Medical/Surgical Acute Care Unit
  • 5 OR Surgical Suites with 2 Cardiac Cath Labs
  • Electrophysiology Lab / Hybrid OR
  • 22-bay recovery unit with 4 overnight stay rooms
  • 2-room Endoscopy Procedure Suite
  • 10-bed Intensive Care Unit
  • 10-bed Birthing Center and 4-bed NICU
  • Emergency Department with helipad and ambulance bay
  • Lab, pharmacy, dietary, and full radiology services

 

Overall project cost to date is $50.2 million.
