About the Project
Flint Hills Dental Group’s new clinic in Andover, Kansas, represents a significant expansion for Dr. Aaron Huslig, who has served the community for over 30 years. Designed by WDM Architects within the Heritage Square development, the space balances modern aesthetics with functional efficiency, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for patients and staff. The design prioritizes patient comfort, operational workflow, and cutting-edge dental technology, incorporating key areas such as ten operatories, a shared private office for three dentists, a sterilization zone, and a hospitality-inspired waiting area. Thoughtfully selected finishes, including a navy blue color scheme inspired by the clinic’s branding, contribute to an upscale yet inviting environment.
Collaboration was central to the project’s success, with WDM Architects working closely with our client to address challenges such as noise isolation for dental equipment and visual privacy for patients while maintaining an open and bright atmosphere. Throughout the construction process, WDM served as the Owner’s advocate, ensuring the project stayed on track and aligned with Dr. Huslig’s vision. The clinic will set a new benchmark for modern dental care in Andover, reinforcing Flint Hills Dental Group’s commitment to excellence and patient-centered service.
