About the Project

In the midst of urban site development reallocation, Capitol Federal and the City of Mission cooperated to move an existing bank branch to a new site three blocks away. The new corner site, located at the gateway of the downtown development core, has significant historical and “mission” themed architectural attributes and is within a very pedestrian-oriented area. With this in mind, a simple, dual entrance design was developed that embraces the significant “mission” character of the surrounding downtown development while also providing a landmark structure that is worthy of the community’s appreciation.
