About the Project
This Capitol Federal branch bank is strategically located near the outskirts of Maize, Kansas, and has an established physical presence in this rapidly growing Wichita suburb. The building’s orientation on the site and use of landscaping give it a prominent position within the development.
The use of building materials and plantings gives the building a warm, natural feel. The extensive use of glass on both the exterior and interior provide good visibility for the bank employees while also bringing natural light deep into the building’s core.
A motif of clean, modern lines define the interior spaces and emphasize the bank’s forward-thinking approach to business. Interior finishes pay tribute to Capitol Federal’s “True Blue” branding while offering a warm, bright and welcoming space. Tiled floors direct customers to the teller pods. Acoustic wall panels help trap sound for a calm and professional banking experience.
