Bluestem Village is a non-traditional nursing facility created with a focus on homelike comfort for the residents. Four 14-bed resident houses have an open kitchen that connects to the common dining room and activities area to foster interaction between the staff and the residents.
For staff efficiency, support systems are located in the connected area between 2 houses:
- Laundry
- Storage
- Janitorial
- Mechanical
The houses are sited near the high point of the property showcases views of the mountains to the west. Residents can enjoy secure outdoor courtyards that are protected by the houses and allow for nearly year-round use. The master plan for the 35-acre site includes a planned Assisted Living facility, Independent Living duplexes, single-family residential and retail opportunities.
