About the Project
WDM Architects used an empty lot between the Ambassador Hotel and the parking garage to create a beautiful urban retreat. Surrounded by tall buildings and concrete, Block 1 Pocket Park’s design features mosaic tile public art installations, custom-designed park benches, a waterfall fountain, feature lighting and custom-made pole lanterns. An artistically inspired green wall serves as a backdrop to the plant materials in the linear park layout.
