Marketing Coordinator

Summary of Position:

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Marketing Coordinator in our growth-oriented architecture firm.  The position is ideal for candidates with a passion for writing and creative thinking; who are self-driven, efficient with deadlines, and able to work effectively with diverse teams of architects.

  • This position will provide marketing support primarily focusing on proposal and interview/presentation preparation and coordination.
  • The successful candidate will partner and work closely with Director of Business Development on tracking opportunities; creating persuasive proposals, presentations and marketing material; and maintaining systems and tools to promote overall efficiency and effectiveness. The position provides a variety of sales and marketing support functions as outlined below.


Job Expectations:

  • Support teams in responding to multiple concurrent pursuits by helping coordinate and produce high-quality and persuasive proposals and presentations, including formatting, proofreading, coordinating graphics, editing/reviewing to ensure compliance and quality, and production.
  • Coordinates process to create and maintain well-organized, up-to-date qualification statements, project descriptions, and resumes that reflect WDM’s strengths and client benefits.
  • Provides timely entry of accurate and complete opportunity information in company tracking system.
  • Provides general support to facilitate client relationship development, including assembling information packages, organizing client workshops and special events, and maintaining client mailing lists and marketing files.
  • Applies best practices and strategies of social media marketing and public relations to optimize and leverage online communication and outreach.
  • Writes and manages Blogs, Twitter, Facebook posts and generate content on a daily basis- Working knowledge and application of Instagram and Houzz (is a plus)
  • 0 – 5 years experience in a professional office or similar environment.
  • 0 – 5 years experience in a professional office or similar environment.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Graphic Design, Communications, English, Journalism, or Marketing recommended), and 1-3 years of experience in a related marketing role in the engineering, environmental, architecture, and/or construction industries).
  • Demonstrated strong technical writing, editing, proofreading skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments, often under tight deadline situations.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with emphasis on superior persuasive writing, presentation, and interviewing ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel.
  • Proficient in Adobe. InDesign
  • 1 yr. Document Layout and Production experience.
